On March 8, 2010 Ivan Drofyak and Lyubaov Drofyak paid our company a $600 deposit to secure four locations for their vending machines.  Ivan Drofyak lives in Kent, WA, just outside of seattle.  Ivan Drofyak's only request with regard to his geographic perameters was that he did not want to go into downtown Seattle, due to heavy traffic.

On March 30, 2010 we provided Ivan Drofyak and Lyubaov Drofyak with the following locations:

Ivan Drofyak refused both of the locations, even though they were within the geographic perameters that were established, by him, before we started the job!  Ivan Drofyak did not deliver his machines to the locations, our company lost the money spent on marketing into the area, and all of the time that we spent negotiating with these businesses was wasted.  Worse still, these businesses that were promised machines, and relied on that promise, never got vending service.  

At that point, we decided to send out a field representative to secure the locations for Ivan Drofyak's vending machines, as we found that it would be impossible to find locations within his perameters using direct marketing.  The field representative met with Ivan Drofyak, in person, and proceeded to secure three out of the four locations contracted for, again based upon the geographic perameters he established.  Again, Ivan Drofyak, after the work was done, stated that the locations were not within the area he described.  The female field representative told him that if he did not want the locations, he did not have to pay for them, but she would not continue to work for him because it was clear that we could not satisfy him.  This was after she spent two days in the field working, securing the locations for Ivan Drofyak.  Ultimately, Ivan Drofyak decided to accept the locations provided and paid the $450 balance to the female field representative, even though the businesses were not ideally located.  No complaints were made as to the quality of the locations.

To call this a scam is ridiculus.  If we were a scam, we would have taken his money and done nothing.  The fact is that we spent hundreds of dollars on this process.  We worked, in-house, on a direct marketing campaign, which cost our company time and money, for two weeks to secure Ivan Drofyak's first two locations.  We then had a field representative drive out to Ivan Drofyak and spend two full days working with potential businesses and securing three more locations for Ivan Drofyak's vending machines.  Our company invested a lot of hard work, time and money to complete this job and were unable to meet Ivan Drofyak's expectations, but there is nothing further from the truth than to call this a "scam."  Ultimately, Ivan Drofyak did place his vending machines into three of the businesses that our company worked diligently to secure for him.
