I used Advanced placement services in 2009 to locate 10 vending machines. I initially spoke with Jay Baird, the owner. I was told they would send someone out, and be able to locate the machines in the city my company is in with no problems. They would charge me $275 per location. The next week the locator arrived. Nice guy, but would not want him representing my company. Wearing sweatpants and beat up sneakers to make sales trips to companies trying to locate my vending machines.

After a few days he told me there was no way he would be able to locate all the machines in my city. He said he would be able to find locations in another town 10 miles away?? To this point he had only located 3 machines in my city. Now he wanted me to travel 10 miles away? At this point it was impossible to reach Jay Baird. He no longer accepted my calls now that he had been paid half up front. The locator ended up locating the other machines over the span of 2 months. VERY LOUSY locations!!

I was told they would only locate in businesses that had 40-50 employees or 100+ people of foot traffic per day. Then Jay Baird's wife called me. She said she was in a "different department". That they only gave out GREAT locations. That it wasn't the same as when the locator came out. Well she was very rude, and the locations she got me were worse than the others. I was now forced to put my machines in companies with 5- 10 employees. 1 company only had 2 employees, but I was told they had tons of foot traffic. After 1 month there was $12 in sales!!! Needless to say I pulled the machine out of there. I have since moved 5 of the machines, and still have 3 that APS located in awful locations due to the fact that I have been unable to move them to better locations yet.

They were paid $2750. They debited money from my own personal debit card without my authorization on the locations several times to the point I had to cancel my card. They have a 1 year guarantee, that they will move up to 3 machines for free to new locations if you are not happy with a location. It got to the point where I didn't even want to try to get in touch with them, or deal with Jay Bairds wife, that I didn't even take them up on this. I just decided I was done dealing with this incompetent company. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY to locate your machines. You would be better off just taking the $275 and use it toward a mailer, or just throw it out!

No, this is incorrect. 3 of these locations would not accept the machine. Only 2 of the locations you have listed that I did originally put a machine in still have a machine because they did SO awful. When I say awful like $5-$10 a week. For a company that claims to be the best in the business you sure don't do your homework. Place you say had 40-50 employees actually had 15. I'm not going to continue a back and forth argument. My goal was to tell people not to deal with your company. Hopefully they will see all your negative feedback as that speaks for itself. There is plenty of it on here and online.

#3REBUTTAL Owner of company

This report was placed by Paul Wenzel.  It took a little detective work to figure out who this client was, since he did not post his full name.

Paul Wenzel hired our company to place 10 combo vending machines into the market on January 8, 2010.  For this service, he paid our company $1,500.  On January 26, 2010 our field representative met with Paul Wenzel and provided him with six locations.  Paul Wenzel placed his vending machines into five of the six locations secured and one of the locations changed their minds.

At that point, Paul Wenzel requested that we complete his job using our in-house method, instead of a field representative.  Utilizing our in-house method, we provided Paul Wenzel with the following seven locations:
