Complaint Review: Advance Telecom

I was trying to download a free trial version of Nero 9 software and was somehow directed to this company's web site. After reading what they were selling, I signed up for a 3 year subscription to their service. I was then directed to Paypal to pay the $49.96 for the service.

After paying, I was instructed to go to the link on the Paypal web page which was supposed to take me back to the original site to complete the registration process. The link did not work. I tried going back to the original site, but was instructed to go to Paypal!

I have tried sending e-mails to the specified address. I have not received an answer. Looks to me like an out and out scam. Once they have your money they refuse to have anything to do with you.

I think my biggest disappointment is that Paypal seems to be in bed with them. I thought that Paypal was supposed to protect it's customers, but I guess they are in it for the money.
