Advance Wellness Research charged my personal visa bogus charges three times. My loss prevention dept. had to get my money. The also sold my debit card number to another company. Wood Dale Illinois
Advanced Wellness Research advertised a product for $4.95. The product never arrived after my account was charged. Several weeks later my personal account had a charge of $79.95 on it. After informing loss prevention of Wachovia of the issue they reversed the charges after 15 days. Then again several weeks later another charge showed up on my account .
Then several weeks later another charge from another company UMG showed up on my acount. I contacted loss prevention with Wachovia. They informed me to contact the company and complain and inform them that if the charges were not returned Wachovia would file a criminal suit.
I contacted this mysterious UMG and informed them of this. UMG stated that Advanced Wellness sold them my credit card number and that they authorized UMG to charge my card.
I was apalled. I am fighting the charges with my loss prevention department of Wachovia. And I had to order new debit cards so that the old card can be locked down and not used.
Someone should shut these kind of companies down.
I WILL NEVER GET INVOLVED WITH ANYTHING OVER THE PHONE AGAIN.
My lesson learned. *If anyone out there is dealing with these criminals, you need to stop. Wachovia is a wonderful means to prevent this type of loss. But unfortunately only after the charges have went through.*
