My husband received an e-mail 4/22/13. In this e-mail it tells us that he is going to be legally prosecuted for violation of federal banking regulation, collateral check fraud, and theft by deception. This e-mail said that his paychecks would be garnished and that we owed $955.75 and if it went to court we would have to pay $4447.25. I called the number on the e-mail and they gave me the last four digits of my husband's social security number and they knew the bank we use and the company he worked for at the time. I told them I would check on this and call them back. I did my research online and I looked at my bank statements none showed that we received any money from this company.

I called my bank and they are doing a stop pay for ACS and USA Cash.net. I also filed an IC3 complaint with the government https://complaint.ic3.gov/default.aspx. I will then call the credit bureaus and put a fraud watch on my husband's social security number. This is completely ridiculous. I will not give them any information or allow any payments to be made to this company. I have printed the e-mail and I will print my bank statements and prove if necessary that I have never received any amount of money from this company. In November of last year I was charged for a payday loan a small fee of $29.95, the company is moneyleaf financial. I called the bank and they took care of the charge for me. I hope this company is not associated with the one above.
