Complaint Review: Advanced Credit Recovery

I received a call from this company on both my work phone & my cell phone. Unable to get to either in time they left a voicemail on both. The message started with what I think was a person, & then when it said we are looking for ..... it was a computer voice badly mispernoucing my first & last name. In the message they said they needed to speak to either me or my attorney immidiately.

Since it was a somewhat threatening message, I have decided to send the a debt validation letter to see who they are supposedly representing. From what I understand collection companies can not use threatening language when leaving messages or talking to you.

Has anyone else received any calls like this, or does anyone else have any other suggestions on what I can do?
