My small general contracting company is owed in excess of a 5-digit dollar amount from Advanced Facilities Maintenance Corp. some invoices that are nearing on being a year & a half old without resolution from AFMC whatsoever. I have spoken to over a dozen different people within the company myself [not mentioning the countless calls my other staff members have made], been given 10 times that in excuses, & the worst of it all is that myself & my staff have been LIED to on too many occasions to remember!

What kind of company that outsources for contractors to do the actual work they get paid off of, would think they can continue to operate if this is the type of customer service they offer?! Not a single person, let alone an entire company would actually believe these shotty business practices to be conducive to repeat business & to long lasting business relationships...which says, THEY DON'T GIVE A CRAP WHETHER ANYONE CONTINUES TO WORK WITH THEM OR NOT BECAUSE THEY GET PAID NO MATTER WHAT & DON'T CARE WHETHER THEY PAY US AFTER!

I cannot believe they are still operating as business, but if EVERYONE that's been affected by these scumbags makes the appropriate reports to the right parties/authorities, something will have to be done eventually! I have been struggling just to get a human being on the other end of phone these past few months so at this point, I am ready to move full steam ahead with a lawsuit & pursue the payment & loss my business, myself & my family have suffered due to the despicable behavior & inconvenience this so-called company has shown us over the course of the last 2 years! I hope that by spreading the word & sharing my current situation & bad standing with AFMC that it will help someone else to avoid suffering a loss or just the headache with it!

Advanced Facilities Management Corp. Is the most dishonest and unethical company I have ever dealt with in all of my years of business. To date, almost 3 years, past due accounts have still not been paid. After being constantly lied to and being given the run around, I had to hire a collections company to aid me in recovering the money my company is rightfully owed for services rendered. And, Advanced Facilities Management Corp. continues to lie and give the run around, procrastinate, and delay making payment. They lie about making payments, lie about mailing out checks, lie about not receiving payment from their clients, and refuse to pay late fees and or damages on the dozen or more past due accounts.

Only after hiring a collections agency, has Advanced Facilities Management Corp. begun to make payments on these past due accounts. But, it hasn't been without more of the lies, games, run around and reluctance to pay. And, this has just added more insult and damages to an already long list of problems that my business, family, and myself have incurred from our experience with Advanced Facilities Management Corp., and has added to the thousands of dollars it has cost us trying to recover some of the money we have lost for doing business with this rip-off company.

During the collection company's investigation, they contacted Advanced Facilities Management Corp.'s clients regarding payment, and found out that Advanced Facilities Management Corp. had been paid in a timely manner for the work that my company had provided. Those clients also informed that they no longer due business with Advanced Facilities Management Corp. because of their unethical business practices, including price gouging, double billing, and problems arising from Advanced Facilities Management Corp. not paying their contractors for the work that had been completed.

I've been personally contacted by other contractors, in other states, across the country, regarding the same problems and experiences that I have had with Advanced Facilities Management Corp. not paying their invoices and giving them the run around. It's my experience that it is a common practice of Advanced Facilities Management Corp.'s to not pay their contractors and to then procrastinate and delay making payment in hopes of exhausting the efforts of their contractors and to not make due on those payments rightfully owed.

One of the most disrespectful, dishonest, and unethical practices of Advanced Facilities Management Corp. Is to blame their clients for not making payment as reason for not paying their contractors. This was one of their many tactics in avoiding paying invoices. PacSun Inc.  Was one of those clients that I had done work for many times; in fact, I had done work at almost every retail location in the Richmond, VA area. Advanced Facilities Management Corp. stated that they were involved in a multi-million dollar law suit with PacSun Inc., for them not paying for services rendered, and that they had won this law suit and were waiting on settlement in order to pay me for my invoices. None of it ture and just another tactic they would use not to pay.

It is my intent to contact the Attorney General in my home state,  Virginia,  and the Attorney General in their state of incorporation, Ohio, regarding Advanced Facilities Management Corp.'s unethical practices, in hopes of protecting others from being added to the list of their victims.

It is my professional opinion that contractors and businesses need to beware of doing business with this company,  Advanced Facilities Management Corporation, unless it is their intent on getting ripped-off!
