Advanced Whitening Advanced Bright $88.97 that I didn't authorize and I don't have any product California

I signed up for a free "sample" of whitener thru an AOL advertisement. There wasn't anything written about automatically being entered into a prebuy club and charges of $88.97 monthly. I emailed the company and was told I am too late, that I didn't respond within the 14 day allowance. I would have to send the product back to get a refund. I can't do that - I never got the product. I never knew about 14 days and I never authorized an additional charge to my card.
