Ihotelcoupon.com contracted with Michael Jackson with Advanced Telecenters (First Fairfield, Inc.)/Acorn Marketing Group on 4/14/2012 for telemarketing in the amount of $1,600.   We were told that an initial contact call would be made once they had received our check for full payment since that was the only form of acceptable payment allowed.  Now we know why, you can't file a complaint like you can with a credit card company.

After receiving our payment on 7/3/12 we made inquiry and contacted Dianne Bucci who was assigned to our account to finalize the details needed to start making sales calls.  Emails were sent on 7/3/2012 that included contact databases and sales information about our company.  After several repeated schedule breakings a call was set up for 7/9/2012 with Dianne who ended up canceling at the last minute stating she had to leave for personal issues.   I then contacted Michael Jackson to express my concern that things were going off track who assured me that a new person named Jason would follow up with me.

On 7/11/12 I received a call from Duwan V. Bogert (Mgr.) who apologized and told me to expect a call from a Jason.  I finally received a call from Jason and we covered the necessary details that were needed for calls to be made.  He was to train his staff and get back with me a week later with results.

Again no follow up was made until I attempted to contact Jason.  On 7/26/12 I was sent a report for the calls they made but discovered they had not used my data base but just pulled numbers from a list they had in their database.  When I pointed this out to Jason he said they would need an additional week to call from our database and it would serve as good practice and that he would follow back up with me in a week.

After waiting a week and not hearing back from any one I contacted Michael Jackson via email and phone.  On 8/14/12 I received an email from Duwan V. Bogert who assured me that I would be getting my reports the next day. After waiting two days and not receiving any reports I communicated by email on 8/16/12 to Michael Jackson that we had not received any reports or feedback as contracted.  I also shared that I felt we were being scammed.  I told him that I ran across a website called http://www.ripoffreport.com/Search/Body/advancedtelecenters.aspx after doing some research online I  had discovered some complaints about Advanced Telecenters and how they were scamming businesses.

I did not receive a reply from my email so I began calling several numbers that we had on file.  They include the following numbers: Michael Jackson-Cell -201-921-3638, Office -201-699-2688. Duwan V. Bogert 973-837-6971, Website- 888-854-8417, 866-502-2676  Numbers seldom work or go busy.

In addition there are several business names we have found them using to do business under which include the following: Advancedtelecenters.com, Advanced Telecenters, First Fairfield, Inc., ACORNMG.com, ACORN Marketing Group.

On 8/20/12 I finally received a call back from Michael Jackson who proceeded to tell me he had been out of touch with things due to his hand hurting him.  He told me he would call me back by the end of the day with some answers and I still have not heard from him.  I am filing this complaint in hopes we might recover our loss of $1,600 and prevent someone other company from losing their money. As one last attempt I send a FedEx pacakage with complaint letter to thier offices and no one is ever there to accept it.  Stay away from this Companie(s).
