Complaint Review: Advanta Bank Corp.

Advanta is holding two payments sent 3 weeks ago and 6 days ago ....

I sent two payments to Advanta, the first one was 8 days before it was due, and the second one was sent in the middle of the billing cycle. I was unaware of the fact that Advanta was not posting my payments, until I received a call from Advanta stating I was over the limit and asked what was I going to do about it.

I explained my theory, that I believed Advanta was holding payments to collect late fees, and charge higher interest rates. The customer service representative, Chris Copeland, was very rude to me, and stated that he didn't have time to listen to "nonsense" about Advanta holding payments.

That was a week ago, and my $2800 has still not been posted, and any charges my company tries to make has been declined.
