Complaint Review: Advanta Bank Corp

Advanta Fluctuating Repayment Dates by up to 5 days! Salt Lake City Utah

I have a 760+ credit rating. I always pay my bills on time. Yet I received a late fee for my last payment. Why?

When I called Advanta customer "service", they informed me that my contract states that my repayment date may change monthly by as much as 5 days. There is, in fact, no way to predict how much it is going to change. It has the appearance of being arbitrary.

I smell a class action lawsuit for a hungry lawyer...

Why is the first thing out of people mouth is "Class Action Lawsuit". The only people who make out in these is the Lawyers, and in this case there is no grounds for any suit.

If you actually look at your statements you would not have to ask why you received a late payment fee. So this is not a RipOff just a failure to check on your part. If you have a 760+ credit rating you must know some basic things about credit. Such as you should be looking at your statement every month to see when the due date is.
