My husband recieved a phone call from "The Dept of US Grants" on Friday Nov. 25 2005. He was convinced it was legitimate and gave out all of our info. They told him we would recieve 12,500 in our account on Monday the 28th. When I came home and he told me what had happened I immediately thought it was a scam and began doing some research. I went to the BBB.com and sure enough it was on there as being a scam. We immediately went and changed our account information at the bank. This morning the 28th they called back. We decided to confront them and let them know that we knew who they were. After several phone calls from them this morning they admitted to being scam artists. So please do not give them any info. We asked one question this morning, if you work for the government who is the Vice President? They all have Indian accents and not one of them could tell us who it was. They said President Bush but they couldn't tell us who the VP was. I think if you work for the government you would know that answer. When they admitted to being a scam they told us they were in a hotel room in America. I would like to warn everyone not to even answer the phone if you see the numbers 866-503-7345 or 254-631-7904. BEWARE!!!!
