I had the misfortune to work for Aaron and Dave and I would like to warn all of the other salespeople out there who may see an ad for them. Here is my experience: From the very first I should have been a little wary as the telephone call in interview I did was so brief and no one would tell me excatly what the job was, I had to come in. I had an interview and I was led to believe that I would be promoting for various business by doing large scale presentations and speaking to various business owners. What I found out, when I went in for the second "interview" was that the job was door to door sales on a strait commission pay schedule, which is not what the advertisement said that I answered. I was told that Advantage had been operating for over 20 years as well but When I researched the company on the California State website I found out that was another lie, it was formed a few years ago.

So lies and deception from the moment the experiance began until I left the "interview". I will report these guys to the BBB and the newspapers and would suggest. It's really too bad because it seemed like a really great deal that was being offered but considering all of the lies that I encountered I would be very scared of bying anything from these guys. I know the original complaint was against the certificate but it does seem like the husband should have taken the time to read the certificate a little better. Aren't there cooling off periods for this type of sale that allows you to return the merchandise within a specific tiome frame - like 10 days?? Anyway, I hope that this helps keep someone else from being duped. My time is certainly valuable to me and I really don't need to waste time applying for fictional jobs.
