I recieved a phone call on my cell phone many times. At first i said taht i did not want the credit card that was offered. (A $2500 limit with 0% intrest) They contined to call at least twice a week. Eventually they convinced me to get the card but this time they also offered a free vacation as well.

They claimed that the 0% intrest was available because of a one time fee of $299. SOUNDS GREAT! except its FAKE. Ive tried cancelling this card at least 10 times but they will not allow me too. They say that the only thing they can do is put the fee off for 1 month, so every month ive had to extend it and extend it.

Not only is it a RIDICULOUS hassle, but its almost impossible to get a hold of them! They have what seems to be a home answering machine, ive talked to the same woman 4 different times when calling, they have NO WEBSITE, or any proof that they are in fact a real company. THIS IS 100% A SCAM DO NOT ACCEPT THIS OFFER. IF YOU DO CONTACT YOUR BANK IMMEDIATELY and close your current account and open another with a completely different number.

Advantage Plus Travel Does Not Offer Credit Cards

Advantage Plus Travel in Metairie Louisiana does not offer Credit Cards of any type and as soon as they became aware of this Fradulent Credit Card Scam it was reported to the FBI. If any one calls you or Emails you with a Credit Card offer you should refuse any such offer it is probably a scam legitimate banks do not operate this way. Never give your information or money to anyone with out researching them thoroughly.

Sincerely,

Peggy M. Pond

After having to postpone my "fee" every month becuase they would not allow me to cancel, finally i went ahead and told the bank (washington mutual) what had happened and they closed my bank account and re-opened one with a new number. I SUGGEST ANYONE that is caught up in this scam to close your account. Its the only way to be sure they wont take anythign from you. Ig you decide to do this, about a week before you go to the bank, do not write any checks or use your debit card... use cash that way you wont hvae any forgotten checks or debits before you close your account!

I NOW AM SURE THAT WASHINGTON MUTUAL IS THE BEST BANK.
