Complaint Review: Advantage Rent-A-Car

I put my car into the shop for service for warranty work the dealer gave me a purchase order for a one day car rental from advantage Rent-a-car. I was not picked up in a very timley manner but that was ok. when I was picked up it was in a very dirty car and the driver appeared over worked.

I was dropped off at the front door and when entered the office the clerk was trying to shuffle cars because it appeared they had over booked, this did not seem like a very well managed company. I give the clerk my purchace order ticket which was called in by the dealership the clerk asked how I was going to pay for this I replied I was not paying for this the dealership is.

He told me I must pay some type of deposit it took a while to get past this point, I had to repeat every thing 3 to 4 times this person told me has a problem with his hearing on this day (actually he was not paying attention to anything I said).

So after at least an hour later I recieved a mode of transportation ( I told him at the beginning NO IMPORTS well this car appeared to be the same car that I was picked up in except it had been washed.They should have left the dirt on because the interior was the dirtest I have ever seen I was embarrest to be seen in this car. I took this car home and parked it in the street. oh I forgot to mention all the dents and scratches that would have taken all day to mark down on their form.

So I went to work the next day taking my truck that gets 7 miles to the gallon rather than be seen in this little death trap that was also not registered, as soon as I got home I took the car back, where I see a young couple being given a run around by trying to make more money from them. to finnish the story they sent me a bill for the rental of the car two weeks later. now i will have to take time off from work to settle this matter
