Advantage Van Lines; Precision Van Lines Precision Van Lines, Precision Van-Lines Scams, Ripoff Florida, Florida
I used precision vanlines to move my items from Idaho to Virginia. I paid for the three day window and the came 7 days later. I took off work and flew to idaho to meet them on this three day window and they never picked up the phone or called me and informed me that they were not come to 7 days later, so I had to leave my keys with a guy i didnt really know and have him there to watch over my items so when the movers decided to show up they would be supervised. I was promised 4 different dates and time when the movers was going to be there to pickup my stuff and I only found that out because I was consistently calling and calling and talking to numerous amounts of people.
On the delivery they put on my receipt that it would be 5-7 days delivery time. Today is day 13. I stress to the Precision vanlines that its is to the upmost importance that they movers deliever my items before I deploy to Iraq this monday.
I was again promise many different dates and times. Come to find out they still wont even be here before then. That is over 15 days after they said they will deliver my items.
PLEASE GOOGLE PRECISION VANLINES AND SEE ALL THE BAD REPORTS THEY HAVE ON THEIR COMPANY. I pulled up 30 myself. And now im another victim. I should have listen to all the bad reports and found someone else. I left out so many out headaches I have had with this company.
DO NOT USE PRECISION VANLINES..GOOGLE IT AND SEE ALL THE BAD REPORTS THEY HAVE ON THEIR COMPANY.

Hi,
I just wanted to mention that we are not associated with Advantage Van Lines. Sri contracted Precision Van Lines to arrange for her move. Not from our website but via a lead provider, she had the option of choosing a company out 6 legitimate companies. I believe she had a bad experience with a previous move and she seemed to batter us to the end. She agreed to sign a contract after carefully reviewing it. She was asked about the number of stairs to her apartment and her response was that they were less than 10 but in reality they were 26. Precision Van Lines never benefited from the additional $75 for the extra steps. It just seemed odd to me that someone that lives in a place for a fair period and not able to differentiate between 9 and 26 steps. She also claimed that I promised her a definaite deliver date which was completely false. There is no such thing in long distance logistics to be able to determine 1 day delivery. Now, lets put all these arguments aside and focus on settling this complaint. Well, I tried. Sri complained at the BBB website and got the same response from me. BBB never changed my rating as I remained with an A- rating. In fact, I offered to pay Sri back the $234 down payment but she refused. She was never overcharged nor was she treated unfairly, it just seems that she wants to put a word out against Precision Van Lines, a small family owned business that was established in 2008, and lets not forget that they were 4 total complaints recorded against us. We must be doing something right. There are a lot of satisfied customers that used our services. I ask you to consider my rebuttal and perhaps weigh the pros and cons of Precision Van Lines and hopefully remove these complaints from your site. Again, I am willing to do whatever it takes to resolve all matters.
Sincerely,
Asaf. Levron

I would like to bring to your notice the irresponsible and abusive behavior of Joe who says he is the sales person, but is originally called Asaf L. the owner of Precision Vanlines. We recently moved from NC to FL and I went online requesting for a quote from movers.com.
Joe contacted me on 8th of Jan and I kept the conversation straight to the point. There were two things very important to me.
1. I told him we were moving on 3rd Feb and wanted our belongings by 4th. He told me he cannot promise a date or time, but he will make sure I'll get the shipment between 4-6th Feb.
2. I confirmed with him several times over the email and over the phone about the price. He told me $936 was the final price and it did not involve any hidden costs, and I don't have to worry about anything and that I don't have to pay a penny more.
3. I confirmed with him over the email that the move is from 2nd floor to 2nd floor. He assured me that it was included in the quote, and the price remains the same to anywhere in Florida.
4. Based on the 4-6th Feb, 2011 deadline, our stuff was picked on 29th Jan 2011 as Joe stated that it would take 7days for the delivery.
5. We agreed on a final price of $936 for 1408lbs at $2.75 per cubic feet. If the weight was below 1408lbs the price will automatically be reduced to $900. This covers pick up from 2nd floor and delivery to 2nd floor. We will get the delivery between 4-6th Feb, 2011.
The truck driver arrived on 29th Jan 2011 at 7:45am, and told us that we had to pay another $175 for the labor. Also, he had a quote with a different final price of approx. $950 and $2.85 per cubic feet. Also, the truck belonged to Statewide relocation. At no point were we told that these two are two different companies. I called Joe immediately to clarify the $175 labor charge, only to be shouted at by Joe. He says, $75 for labor is not going to make to go broke. So pay that d**n money. I was shocked at his behavior. He kept lying that my husband accused him, and therefore tried to justify his behavior. The driver Juvi and his help Ruben are witnesses to the entire conversation. Juvi even reported Joe's behavior to Maya from the Statewide relocation customer service. We agreed to pay $75 towards the labor and paid the driver $100 towards labor and tip. Joe promised us that the delivery in Florida is free and we don't have to pay anything else.
We arrived in Florida on 3rd Feb, 2011. Our shipment did not arrive on 4th, 5th or 6th as promised. I called the toll free number they provided and reached Barbie. Barbie told me that it was going to be 10 days from 4th that I will receive my shipment. I was astonished and told her about my conversation with Joe. Barbie says, "If Joe promised you, go talk to Joe". She told me Joe is only a broker and they had nothing to do with him. We were initially told that the delivery would be done on 7th or 8th. When it did not happen on 7th, I called Barbie once again, who said that she never promised any date and said, "don't put words into my mouth". I was tired of all this, as we has all our stuff with the movers, and contacted BBB. Then I emailed Joe, about the situation.
He apologized for the delay and said he thought that we already received the delivery. He told he would talk to Statewide and arrange for a delivery as soon as possible. After a few calls to Statewide, we were finally given a delivery date of 10th Feb, 2011. The driver Joey called at 6:30am in the morning on 10th Feb, and told us that we had to pay another $75 for the labor. I told him that we have already paid everything in full and had it in writing from Statewide, and Joe also promised. The driver contacted the owner Eric and finally told us that we had to pay the $75. I emailed Joe immediately about this. Joe called me back and the conversation was very bitter. Joe has used foul language all throughout the call. He was quite unhappy that I wrote to BBB. He was extremely abusive and yelled throughout the call. He said, call BBB and take your complaint back and I'll pay you that d**n $300 or whatever the F@#$ it is. He also said, "you've been nothing, but a headache". I asked him if this is how he talks to his customers, he says"you're not my wife. You're not my relative. You're nothing". I reminded him that he cannot talk to me like that, but he refused to change his attitude and kept using foul language and accusing us. He agreed in his previous conversation that he forgot to mention about the labor for the stairs. In his response to BBB, he said he informed me about it and I kept dodging the question. I see now reason why I had to dodge any questions of his.
Joe AKA Asaf is a liar, and runs his business very unprofessionally. I have complete proof and documentation of his behavior. He is bitter and cunning and says that his customers are not good, etc. If you check the previous complaints about Joe, all of them have similar problems. If it is one customer, I would think it's the problem with the customer, but why do all of them who complained have a similar problem? BBB closed the case based on all the lies he said - in his favor. I called them and told them how could they do it when I had proof to everything, they say the lady Stephanie closed it and don't know for what reason. Weird! It is a shame on you Joe to lie and abuse your customers and ill treat them.
Be careful and NEVER EVER SIGN UP WITH PRECISION VANLINES.

Hello,
My name is Asaf Levron and i am the owner of Precision Van Lines out of Florida.
The individual reporting is a former customer that was dishonest from the get go. Ive explained him and his wife that there needs to be a 3 day pick up window due to the nature of location of the state. Idaho is not a common state for truckers therefore we need a 3 day windoe of pick up. The total bill was about $1900 because there were a lot more items addedd to the list on the day of the pick up. I had trouble communicating with them from the start. I tried to resolve this matter with them directly but they chose to go online and try to distroy the good repution we have had since opening the company in 2008. It is a shame that this man is using his status of been a military personnel and serving our nation to try and make this as genuine as he can. We have had 2 previos complaints before this one and both were resolved with satisfaction on both parties. I ask you to please remove this false report from your page as it is bad for business. This is a smkall family owned business with minimum profits and we can not allow these complaints affect our business. Again, we have had a total of 3 complaints in almost 3 years,m 2 of which were directly resolved. Apart from this one there have been nothing negative on Precision Van Lines in almost 3 years. I am willing to correspond with this former customer and reach some kind of resolution to thye satisfactory of both parties.
I thank you for taking the time in reading my response. Also, I appologize as english is my second language.
Thanks again,
Asaf. Levron

Situation:
vanlines.com/index_files/Page363.htm ) and spoke to a representative there by the name of Joe. I informed him I was currently deployed to Iraq and I need to move my items from Idaho to Virginia when I get off deployment.
com/index_files/Page363.htm
On Jan 12, I hired Precision Van-Lines through an online website (http://www.precision-
He told me that Precision Van-Lines is a hassle free, less stress moving company, etc. So I agree to use them. I inform him it will be a one bedroom apartment that will be moved. He told me the total for a 1 bedroom apartment would be $1100, for a 3 day window, and $900 for a 5 day window. To get started I would have to make a $244.00 dollar deposit (I have receipts on hand) .
I choose the 3 day window for $1100 and paid Precision Van-lines the $244.00 deposit. The three day pickup window that I choose was from the 12 Feb - 15 Feb . Which I bought a plane ticket from Virginia to Idaho in order to be there when the movers showed up, supervise the move, and sign the papers. After paying $480 for a flight to Idaho, $153 for a rental car, the mover didnt show up to 17 Feb which which I had to fly back to Virginia because I took my weekend off work to meet these movers and they didnt show up. (I have flight and rental receipts).
Additionally I believe the movers forged dates on the paper work. Someone wrote in they showed up on the 12th and it wasnt me.
Because they didnt show up during the window I payed for I had fly back and leave my keys with someone I dont know at all so he could be there when the movers showed up. When the movers show up and they had the guy that was doing the supervising sign the contract for services paper work (because they knew he didnt know the whole situation of what to expect). I should have been faxed this contract and signed it myself. The total price was not written on the contract at that time. Sometime after these movers left they wrote in a price of $1817.54 and I wasnt informed of this price until delivery. If I would have been informed at the time of pick up or earlier I would have went to another company. They charge $244.00 dollars for packing, which they did a horrible job and used 1 layer of card board box for or flat screen tv and computer monitor, and didnt wrap the rest of the CPU. Put tape on a lot of our items so we have tape residue that we have to pill off, etc. Additionally the movers put a dent in the wall that from carrying the furniture inside. (Please see attach pictures).
Meanwhile I am consistently calling trying to speak to Joe from precisions van lines and getting a complete run around, and he tell me to call the other party and deal with them because its out of his hands. The number he gives me is to a guy name Gary from some moving company who doesn't speak good English and change the delivery date 5 different times. Which I took off work 4 times and left work early the fifth time. (I will be suing them for my lost time at work).
The representative from precision van-lines Joe, would not answer any of my voice mails or respond to any emails. I called him twice a day and left him an email just about every other day concerning the where about of my items. He would not respond. (I have all emails saved)
On March 02 the movers show up with my items and an bill for $1817.54 I did not sign or agree to. Didnt speak good english and couldnt even explain to me why it was that amount and certain areas of the contract that he want me to sign. He refused to take my items off the truck until i signed the paper work. I then call the police and told them the sisuation. They informed me that it was nothing that they can do and I would have to pay the $1817.54 bill i didnt sign for and take them to claims court to get my money back.
I paid $1817.54 to have my items, because I took numerous amount of days off work and was sleeping on a air mattress and living in harsh conditions because the delays and misinformed information that the movers kept giving us. (Suing for this inconvenience).
Also this company has many bad complaints with people in similar situations and over 30 complaints in Better Business Bureau. They guys would not help me or respond to any of my emails. Every time I needed to speak to a manager it was directed to another mover who could not help me and just said I have to pay or I wont get my items.
I will be suing for
1. Forged pickup dates on Contract that was signed
2. The total price of the move $1817.54 ( The price was written in until after the movers left and it clearly states on the contract that it must include the terms and cost assciated with my move in BOLD RED LETTERS. (I have contract in hand)
This includes....
$244.00 in packaging charges, because the packing was done sloppy. LCD tv and monitor left in the back of a freezing cold truck in one thin layer of cardboard box. All the rest of our valuables wrapped in blankets and duck tape. ( I have pictures of packaging)
3. $700,00 for 4 1/2 days of missed work because the movers changing pickup and delivery dates multiple times.
4. $244.00 pay pal deposit that was never deducted from the bill (I have receipts)
5. $110.00 giving to the guy who I had to supervise my items because the movers didnt show up during the time I paid for and had to have someone take off work in Idaho to watch my items.
6. $153.00 Rental Car reimbursements, Which I used to meet the moves during the time frame I payed for and they didnt show up.
7. $5,000 in incovenice fees of sleeping on air mattress, limited amount of personnel items, stress, unanswered emails, runarounds etc. Website says hassle free. http://www.precision-vanlines.
8. $200 approx to get dent in the wall fixed from movers moving furniture and to remove tape residue from items the boxed up.
9. ALL associated lawyer and court fees.
I have all receipts and paperwork on hand to prove any of the stated above.
