We recently purchased a house that the propane tank outside was stolen. We have been using the wood stove as
our only source of heat. We finally saved up the money needed to get a propane tank so I set up an appointment with Aero Energy to get a propane tank and line connecting into my house. The salesman Ken Strickhouser came out to my house on January 30 and quoted us a price of $477.00 for a 100 gallon tank and the 1/2" copper gas line, tank hookup, regulator set and pressure leak and test. I received the proposal the next day on the 31st and signed and sent it back. I had to
call on February 5 to make sure someone got my email, which they claimed they had not (even though I sent it back to the email I received it from). After I paid that day (2/5) I was told that someone would contact me for scheduling soon. After several days of waiting (2/12) I was forced to call them to schedule something. I got an appointment for February 15 "after lunch". (these are the words they used). My boyfriend got off work 4 hours early to be home at 11:30 for the "after lunch"
appointment we had. At 1pm I called aero energy to see where they were and make sure my appointment was still on. I was informed on the phone that my appointment had already been completed. After a long hold I was informed that the technician came out at 10:45 waited for "a long time" and then left. He also said there wasnt a propane line ran from the house and there was a wood pile in the way.

In my quote was running the propane line from the house to the tank, and the salesman looked all at what we had and knew we needed a line. Why this was not transmitted to the tech I dont know. Perhaps he didnt have a copy of my signed proposal; which also had my phone number on it (which he never called before leaving, not completing the job). My boyfriend had gotten home early and moved the woodpile and was at home from 11:30 am on. When he called the salesman (who come to find out is the sales manager) to discuss what had happened he was extremely rude to him and told him the tech wasnt coming back today. My boyfriend informed him that we would like our money back. I received a call and then an email from the sales manager, Ken Strickhouser, just saying that we couldnt do business and they would refund my card that I used in the transaction. That was 2/15 when I got the confirmation that I would be refunded.

It has been 4 days(2 business days) since I was supposedly refunded and I still have not received my refund to my credit card. I have emailed the sales manager and the person who did the refund and havent heard a thing. Right now I am out $477 for the tank and $ in lost wages. And we still dont have heat. Its February! You would think a propane company would be a little more easy to work with in the winter when you dont have heat. Until we get this money back we cant set up heat with any other supplier.
