This company has bad business practices. As a contract firm, they have access to your time punch information, but will not share information with actual company they are contracted to service. When you do not receive your paycheck takes anywhere from a one to three to receive the actual payroll check.

Do not have adequate time and attendance Time and Attendance system setup, and contractors do not have access to their time and attendance. Initial contractors are held responsive if they are accused of stealing time or missing punches, which could be contributed to ie: software problems, sabotage, etc. They will not allow you to enter your time manually, but they have the ability to access reports that detail your punches even after you may to informed by them that you are missing punches.

So, please verify before you start any assignments with them, that you question them about who has access to the Time and attendance software, because if they can accuse you of stealing time, you do not or will not have access to the time and attendance software known as Kronos to validate their accusations. So, even if you have a badge, keep up with all of your badge swipes, because if they accuse you of missing punches or time swipes at the time clock, they will not tell you that they have your missing punches, they will wait for you to give tem the information that they already have, and if they see a difference in what you gave them and what is on their actual printout, they will accuse you stealing time. So, please be aware of their double standard bad business practices...

Aerotek Contrac Commercial Firm Bad Business Practices

#2Author of original report

Thu, January 10, 2008

This company has bad business practices. As a contract firm, they have access to your time punch information, but will not share information with actual company they are contracted to service. When you do not receive your paycheck it takes anywhere from a one to three months to receive the missing payroll check.

Aerotek, does have adequate Time and Attendance system setup, business procedures and contractors do not have access to their time and attendance. Initial contractors are held responsive if they are accused of stealing time or missing punches, which could be contributed to ie: software problems, sabotage, etc.

Since you or the company your assigned to work for as Contractor does not have access to the actual time swipes that this Contrac firm may accuse you of not having. So, they will have your acting manager over the assignment request a email from you with those missing times, when in actuality, Aerotek, already has the missing time swipes, they are requesting from you. So, as a Contractor, you do not mean anything to them, other than a means to fire you, if a retaliatory situation develops between you them. Remember, your acting assignment Manager will not have access to the same Time and Attendance data that Aerotek has access to.

So, even if you have a badge, keep up with ALL of your badge swipes, because if they accuse you of missing punches or time swipes at the time clock, they will not tell you that they have your missing punches, they will wait for you to give them the information that they already have, and if they see a difference in what you gave them and what is on their actual printout, they will accuse you stealing time. So, please be aware of their double standard bad business practices... Aerotek memphis, Tennessee
