My son and I went to this breeders (Aesir American Bulldogs) home as we were going to purchase a puppy from them. We were at the home for over an hour chatting with Jessica and Chris, met both of their dogs Odin and Frigga, you could tell right from the begining that Odin was an extremely dominant dog. Upon us leaving the house, Odin came up to my son, sniffed him, kissed him, and then with no warning attacked him!! I was standing behind my son and was able to prevent the fall, I kicked Odin in the head to which he let go of my sons leg, I then threw my son up against the wall to try to protect him, when Odin came back and attacked him again, finally the breeder got him off of us and we were able to get out of the house. My son was taken to the hospital and received 5 stiches in his on lag and bruising on the second leg. The reports were filed, and instead of the dog being put down, the Breeders were to have him fixed, muzzled, and crated (this is in both the Police report filed, as well as with Animal Control). I have not seen any paperwork that they have had him fixed, however I have printed off pages from Kijiji and Facebook stating that they are breeding him again. PLEASE DO NOT SUPPORT THESE BREEDERS. They have lied, to not only me, but also the people that have bought puppies from them saying that Odin is well socialized with children!!! Yeah, well I guess you could say he is if you think attacking them is well socialized, but what do they care, they're just in it for the money!!! Of course they're going to say that to get you to purchase a puppy from them.........

WOW, these breeders are amazing, thay have changed their name now to BC American Bulldogs, if you check out their site, not only will you NOT find their names, but as well, they DO NOT name the dogs they breed, any reputable breeder would include this information as they would intend you to google them, especially if you are spending that kind of money...........go ahead google any other American Bulldog Breeder, ALL their information is provided, as they have NOTHING TO HIDE, and want you to know about them, and their dogs...............well I guess the one good thing is that I do not see Odin as one of their breeding dogs, thats at least a plus, but knowing them, they are probably still breeding him and just not sharing that information either.

This report is true, I was there

This report is true. I was there that day. I was looking to adopt a rescued dog at the time, and the breeders had a third dog (non-breeding dog; i do not support dog breeding as a hobby) that they had rescued and were looking for a new owner. These events happened just as described. It is wrong that the breeders are not being fully up front with you regarding Odin (the male breeding dog). As a pet adopting owner, you should have all of the information available to you in order to make a good decision.

With this being said, not only should you NOT SUPPORT these breeders, but you shouldnt support ANY BREEDERS. There are thousands of stray dogs in the world that need new homes every single day. In our country and abroad (I have seen this first hand in South America, India, Africa and even here in Canada and the US). I only wish that BREEDERS could see this and experience this. They are a big part of the problem and their ignorance is whats wrong with this world.

Dog BREEDERS are very selfish and don't understand how detremental their actions are to the world. By giving them money, you are as guilty as they are.

Everyone has a choice when it comes to adopting a new pet, and it is not realistic to think that they are all educated about this issue, but You can make a difference. Don't be part of the problem, be part of the solution, don't support DOG BREEDERS, especially the ones who hide the truth from you, like Aesir American Bulldogs. They should feel ashamed with what they are doing, mis-leading people and contributing to this worlds over populated, hungry & homeless stray dogs. It is very bad karma and bad for the world.
