AFC's Siberian Huskies/Amanda Henry Puppy Mill Alert/Breeds Emaciated Dams Beaver Springs Pennsylvania
Amanda Henry of AFC'c siberians is a horrible breeder. She breeds several different types of dogs, always back to back and until her dams decease usually around the age of 9 or 10 years, just breeding machines! The females are so emaciated that many die as a result of being pregnant as they haven't even been given the chance to recover from the last time they were bred.
I am a nurse and I know how hard this is on the body, let alone to be pregnant all the time. These poor dogs never have a life, they never know love and they never are valued. I live in the same state as she does and I have made several trips to her property without her knowledge just to see what was going on. I took pictures of what I could see and sent them to the authorities. In Sept of last year something was finally done about it.
Many have seen pics where pups have been born outside on the ground, even in the fridgid winter months. She refuses to bring them inside her home because she says the "noise" disturbs her sleeping hours. She keeps all her dogs in unsanitary conditions. This was discovered by the state Wardens. The ONLY time you will ever see the dogs outside the kennels are to look good, even then she edits the emaciated females to make them "appear' healthy. She does not provide fresh water or food to these poor dogs for days on end and keeps imprisoned in tiny kennels with electric shock collars attached to their necks. Several older dogs have been recued and undergone surgery to remove the embedded collars from their necks. Others are food aggressive and some were so emaciated that it took months for them to recover.
She claims all the pups are AKC registered but she frauds the paperwork. I bought an agouti pup, a male, from her before I even knew any of this. I am in shock! Amanda tried to send him to me at the age of 4 weeks. I had to pay extra just to make sure she kept him until 8 weeks. She will buy unregistered Husky's cheap and off Craig's list and register them under an AKC registered litter just to make more money off them. She also breeds her dams with one sire but places another name on the application as well as using 2 or 3 different sires to try to get the dam impregnanted with as many pups as possible. The more pups she can churn out, the more money she can pack in her purse!
The Pennslyvania state wardens visited her kennels and found more than 50 dogs at one time on her property (Please see doc.) She was forced into obtaining the kennel licence that she continuously tried to avoid.
The majority of the pups she sells are sent to their new homes with parvo, ofton passing. She will not honor any health guarantee even though she "claims" she offers one. She will breed dogs knowing they have cataracts as she has no concern for the quality within the lines and certainly has no respect for it.
Her Kennel name is AFC, this week at least as, she continuously changes it once her reputation becomes marred.
Dog warden Chris Seiple said in court documents that Henry pleaded guilty Jan. 2 to operating a dog kennel without a license and four months later, when he and three other dog wardens visited her home again, they found 34 dogs on the premises.
He alleges that more than 50 dogs had been a part of the kennel, known as AFC Kennel Siberian Huskies and AFC Siberian Huskies, during the year since her guilty plea and had been sold or transferred, despite Henry’s failure to obtain a kennel licence, court records said.
Three of the dogs ages 3 months or older did not have a current or valid license and the wardens found an accumulation of feces, bowls of unclean water and large holes in the ground where the animals were kept.
Henry is scheduled to appear at an Oct. 1 preliminary hearing before District Judge Lori R. Hackenberg on charges of third-degree misdemeanor operating a kennel without a license; three summary charges of failing to obtain a dog license and a summary charge of failing to keep a sanitary kennel.
Henry, who could not be reached for comment Wednesday, faces a fine of between $500 and $1,000 and-or up to one year in jail if convicted of the misdemeanor charge.
McCLURE — The owners of a kennel in Snyder County are asking the person or people who stole their puppies to bring them back, no questions asked. They are even offering a reward for the puppies’ safe return.
The owners say two of those stolen puppies have not had their shots yet and are not even old enough to be away from their mothers. State police say the puppies were taken from a kennel near McClure sometime between Friday night and Saturday morning.
Bobby and Amanda Henry are doing their best to carry on after four puppies were stolen from their kennel near McClure.
“I realized soon that they weren’t there. I came out to the front and saw the gate was messed up and broken into,” Bobby said.
The stolen puppies include two nine-week-old Dobermans and two Siberian Huskies, which are five and seven weeks old. All are females, and the owners say they are worth a total of around $4,000.
“They really put these pups at risk,” Amanda said.
The Henrys say these puppies are from the same litter as the younger husky that was stolen.
The owners fear the puppies will not get the proper vet care they need at this stage of their young lives.
“A couple of them had their shots but they don’t know that. If they give them shots again, it could cause more damage,” Amanda said.
It’s not just the Henrys who are suffering. There are four families who are also hurting. All four of the stolen puppies were already spoken for and all four of them were already paid for.
“They had already bought things for these pups. They had names picked out. We would send them pictures every week of their growth,” Amanda said.
The Henrys put a pen in the backyard kennel at their home on Ridge Road near McClure. They are asking the thief or thieves to bring the puppies back and leave them in the pen, no questions asked.
“They’re not just dogs. These are family and friends and we love them and care about them,” Bobby said.
Again, the puppy owners are offering a reward for the safe return of the puppies, or for any information leading to the arrest or conviction of whoever is responsible. If you have any information you are asked to call state police.

well, i know who you are! and yes back in february i bought an emaciated dog(to save its life) but i bought it from scarlette sondergeld! she sells sick dogs and sick pups and rips people off all the time! dont ever buy from her. you want to see a puppy mill, there ya go! lol!! i even seen her beat a dog before, just cause the poor thing jumped up on her and got dirt on her!! pathetic!! i seen that with my own eyes!! not one of my dogs has ever been hit or neglected. so, you want to keep spreading lies.... have at it!!

To all who read this.... my name is amanda fretz the supposed person who wrote this report but I DID NOT!!!!! Someone used my info and name illegally to write this. I am a cleint of Amanda Henry and i have a pup from her and he is very healthy because of lies an insecure person lead me to believe i took him to my vet to have all panels ran just to be safe and im telling you he is healthy as ever and is a absolute joy in my life. Amanda gave me a perfectly healthy pup with a great disposition and yes i would go back to her. Please do not believe evrything you hear or read about her! speaking from experience it was awful that someone out of jeloussy took my info and attached it to this report and keeps attacking Amanda Henry this world is a sad place when peopkle resort to this sort of behavior it is very upsetting to all persons involved.

Puppymiller the shocking truth, lmao is that we are friends on Facebook and yet you have no idea who I am. I saw the pictures, I read all the posts and clicked every link. ALL of them, valid! Hell even YOU yourself mention wanting to breed all sorts of canines and that post is still on the net for god's sake, so try some other lie. Your a fukin pathetic excuse for a human. I hate breeders, specially ones like you. Adopt don't shop! You need to serve jail time for breeding that poor dog, omg, edited pics and ALL, as IF every one is so stupid that they are not going to look closely at them huh. You suk at photoshop! oh miss scarlette, you really have nothng better to do than spread lies about others! do you really have that much free time on your hands? such a jealous person, i feel sorry for you!! anyway, most of this post are lies! this review was posted by a fellow breeder that does this to most breeders she knows. its nothing really new but its getting a bit annoying and frankly, pathetic!! at aome point in this post i actually thought it was about someone else cause i had never heard these comments before. i have never mixed breed a dog, EVER!! not sure where you even got that from. i guess you are finding all your lies hard to keep track of, that or you are unable to keep all your enemies atraight! anyway, if any of you want prrof that these are all lies, please feel free to email me through my website and i will be happy to show you proof that these are mostly lies. and yes i say mostly lies because we did have pups stolen from us and it was heart breaking!! we still hurt to this day! and yes the dog wardens came here but everything was dropped because it was based on someones lies and false information. please feel free to look it up! this person has never been to my home or place of business!! so, nice try!!!
