Complaint Review: AFINI

Ireceived a letter from afni telling me that I owed $542.20 to them from Charter Communicatio TV I did ot order cable from Charter. I talked with a rep a she said since I am disputing this what they could do is contact Charter and get whatever file they have. Today i received a letter stating that Chartoer Communicatio is the creditor with the account number but there is no correspondence to back this up. As I was talking to Brin the person who took my call he proceeded to tell me that under Federal Law I am liable and must pay. I hung up the phone. If this is the case anyone can call up and put anything in yolur name and they don't have to a contract or anything
