AFK, run by Gail Sedigh, is a complete rip off. Their furniture is made in Indonesia, Phillipines, and other various cheap producing countries, and they market the furniture as "made in the USA", or "hand finished" in the USA. It is simply spray painted by unqualified workers in a warehouse.
They will charge you astronomical prices for poor quality work and then simply say there is nothing they can do about it when something cracks, rips, or chips....which always happens in only a few months.
The owner Gail is rude, condescending, completely irrational, and impossible to work with. She has no respect for anyone else's time except her own. She will never admit fault.
This is a huge warning to anyone who is thinking about ordering furniture from AFK...prepare to get robbed. Restoration Hardware and even Pottery Barn Kids have higher quality furniture than AFK does.
I have never left a bad review for any company in my life because I feel everyone makes mistakes, but the amount of mistakes and disgusting treatment I have recieved from this company is so immense, I could not over look it. When you spend thousands of dollars you expect quality and good customer service....but with this company, you will never get that.
