Complaint Review: AFNI Collection Agency Verizon

Just as the other reports I had read on this page. I had received a letter last week from AFNI Collection. They claim that I had a Verizon land line phone service in New York. The bill was from 13 yrs. ago. First, I live in Texas! Second, I have Verizon for cell and land line here, in Texas!

After speaking with Salvador (no last name, due to their policy of being a collection agency) he was lost and confused. Salvadorr had given me an address, that I never lived at. He claims that AFNI will investigate the matter and get this situation taking care of.

Now, is that really worth the $130.00 bill that they sent me? The thing that really upsets me, is that anyone who gets this letter in the mail, you need to know that these individuals have your Social Security Numbers!

I think it is about time someone does something about it!
