AFNI sent to collection without notification on a debt I do not owe Bloomington Illinois
I found out about this from Experian,(who is not very helpful either) saying I owed $40 to Qwest back in 2002. I do not owe this to anyone. I have A+ credit until now. I am livid that this can happen. Who is looking out for the consumer. Qwest is just as bad, as they will not help and say I have to deal with AFNI. I am so upset with these people.

Qwest is or at least was a nasty nightmare years back. I and my fiance had found a charge from this place on our checking acct each month. He thought I had purchased something.......I thought he had yada yada yada. (it also ended our joint checking journey as well)
Come to find out we had BOTH purchased something thru some BS infomercial on TV. As an add on it enrolled both of us in some special crap with Qwest. I kinda went postal on this place and demanded a refund. They were adamant that I had knowingly signed for and agreed to whatever it was. (I dont even remember anymore) I said until the could show me written documents with MY signature......or a taped conversation where I verbally agreed to this....they had best be refunding me ASAP. LOL suffice it to say they couldnt.....but what they could do was refund me the last 3 months worth of charges. They refused to refund anymore than that....but it was a start. I eventually got the refund of 3 months....and never heard from them again.
