After the Barn, Beacon, NY They did not deliver at all what we paid in full for Beacon New York
I visited the workshop on december 14, 2016 to comission a table top and ended up purchasing a bench too. I asked Robert if he would be able to have it ready before our departure from NY on January 1, 2017 since we were relocating to California, he said that he would have it ready by next week and I left him with 500.00 deposit in cash of the 750.00 we agree. next week I call to schedule the pickup and Robert asked me for a few more day to finish it.
the following week I call on Wednesday to pick up and he again said he was not going to be there for me to pick up, at this time I told him the last chace I have to pick up was January first 2017 and he agree that he would be there for us to pick up on our way to California. On January 1, 2017 we call Robert and he said that he could not make it to the shop, I informed he we were on a schedule trip and could not wait a day more that needed to pick up the table top and the bench before leaving since we were relocating.
Robert said that since it was his fault that he could not make it to the shop that he would ship our table top and our bench to California, that he had done that before and it would be okay. Here we are a year later and still no table top and no bench. I have tried via text message, phone calls, and Facebook in a very polite way to motive Robert to ship our purchase. I even mailed him a money order for the remaining amount which he cashed. Even thou he said multiple times that the table top and the bench were packaged and ready to be shipped and that he would made good on his word, we STILL do not have our table top neither our bench.
We wanted to buy reclaimed wood becaause we wanted to have a memento from NY and since the beams I pick came from a building in Brooklyn we were looking forward to match them to the cast iron legs we purchase to set the table top and enjoy every day we sat at the table to have dinner. This is the most despicable way to take advantage of people, Robert you have the full payment for the goods and services we agree, we are empty handed. You are a good for nothing individual ......
