AgeRenew Skincare, aka agerenewskin.com, www.agerenewskincare.com Scam - Product Subscription Purchase disguised as Free Trial Greenville South Carolina
While browsing on an unrelated site, a banner/pop-up displayed an offer for a free trial of Age Renew, for only the shipping charges. Went for it and placed the order for the "free trial". A bottle arrived (worthless product so stopped using it after a week) then a while later I received another one. Upon checking my bank account, found they has charged ~84 for the first bottle and again for the second.
Online consumers opting for a "free trial" of Age Renew need to be aware that they are in fact agreeing to a recurring subscription to purchase the product and if they do not cancel in 14 days, will be charged a significant sum on a recurring basis. This is NOT obvious when accepting the trial! One must carefully review the fine print in the Terms and Conditions!
Very deceitful, in my view.
