Complaint Review: Aging in the home remodlers aka Easy Climber Elevators aka designed for Seniors aka First Street

This company sells stair lifts, home elevators and walk in tubs/showers to Seniors and the  disabled. High pressure misleading sales practices designed to take advantage of people with a true need by selling them based on doom and gloom with flat out lies.  We purchased a stair lift for 5495. Took two months to get it installed. During that time we found out that we could purchase the same stairlift. Same manufacture. Same model. No one thing different other than a little sticker that said easy climber From the same company that actually installed the lift we finally received for 3,000. Tried to cancel the order after 5 weeks of waiting before we knew the price difference by the way. We were stone walled and then told by some guy at their office Mike Morgan that finally returned a call after 7 attempts to reach someone that we would lose our 2k downpayment.  

real slim bags. I continued to checkout all of there products offered. Walk in tub and shower. Turned out to be low end products with less jets than everyone else yet still priced the same and their elevator that they were so proud off turns out to be made by a company in MO. Stay at home corp that will sell you the same unit installed minus the little tag for 10k less. The sales guy never turned a call from TX I think.   Unit has been broken 3 times in the past few months. The lifetime warranty was bull.  We get charged a service fee every time
