Complaint Review: Agnes Dowdy & Associates

Do you have a property for sale with Agnes Dowdy??? If so here is some interesting info. They are not members of any local association of Realtors and this means that your property is not in the MLS (multiple listing service) which means there are hundreds of Realtors that do not even know your property is for sale meaning there are hundreds of buyers out there that will never look at your property. Also 95% of people that are looking for property start looking online and by not being members of a local mls your property is not going on websites like realtor.com, yahoo, or any of the other nationwide websites that are linked to the mls. This also means that basically that unless someone drives by your property they will never know it is for sale. Just think about it how many buyers will actually do a search for Agnes Dowdy's website? not many, most go to the mls or other nationwide sites. You might ask why they are not members? Well after a lengthly conversation with someone from the Lynchburg Assn. today I found out they get alot of complaints from actual Realtors about their bad business practices and by not being members the Lynchburg Association can not take any disiplinary action against them These people may sound nice when you talk to them but they are scumbags.As a seller you are going to pay alot if your property sells. So why not get the most for your money and use a Realtor instead of someone that just has a real estate license. There is a huge difference. If you want your property to sell dump these losers and get a professional. If you want to keep your property stay with Agnes Dowdy. They lead you to believe they do as much as a Realtor does but they cant and do not, wasting months of your time and costing you the possible sale of your home.
