Six months ago I made a reservation for my vacation in Europe using the services of Agoda.com. This was the first site I used to shop online shopping in my entire life. The experience at the time was fantastic.
After Agoda.com was sold, it seems that the quality dropped sharply (now part of the Priceline Group).
I received an email at the time of confirmation with the following highlighted message: "Your reservation is confirmed and complete." Neither was confirmed nor complete. I found out yesterday.
Just before nine days for my arrival at the hotel, they tried to debit my credit card that had been replaced by fraud. They made no notice in advance, that they would charge just now, and only sent an email saying they could not charge and I immediately had to solve the problem. Within 13 hours, in which I even didn´t see this email, they simply cancel my  reservation. There was no minimum time for me to do anything, considering that we are a 10-hour time zone difference.
After my complaint they just said the hotel was full and there was nothing to do. They did not offer me any alternative or suggestions of other options.Pitiable such a procedure.
