Complaint Review: AIG Extended Warranty

AIG Extended Warranty Co. denied our dryer repair service.

We provided the following information to support our Claim Request:

    *  Provided the purchase date - March 17th, 2023 of the Whirpool Dryer

    *  Provided the Model Number - WED7000DW0

    *  Provided the Serial Number  - M70809312

    *  Provided a copy of the check written on April 17, 2023, for the 2-year AIG Warranty - Whirlpool             Service Plan(showing the front and back of the check; showing the full endorsement for $164.65).

    *  Authorization Code - 0162-21-7121

    *  Invitation Code - 9515-54-4693

We paid out-of-pocket today $211.22 for the repair work that should have been covered by our 2-year warranty from AIG.

Why purchase an Extended Warranty, if the warranty will not be honored?
