VIOLATIONS - City of West Hollywood gave them violation after inspecting 2 apartments. Other apartments might have the same problem. The violation were for no ventilation (meaning no exhaust fan or window) in violation of code.

All apartments in Los Angeles must have ventilation either via window, skylight or exhaust duct/fan. These apartments don't have it and management tried unsuccessfully to conceal a major health issue by hiding their defects and not cooperating with residents. We learned that the senior code enforcement officer came to the building. The violations were found and now it looks like the whole building wasn't built to code and plans. AIMCO is fighting this as the whole building repair is going to be expensive for them now that they got caught.

So if you love the moisture and disgusting smells never to leave your bathroom, then this is the place for you. Prime way for MOLD to grow. Complaints to building management went nowhere. They ignored it until the Senior Code Enforcement Officer from WeHo came to inspect. The records are public so feel free to call City of West Hollywood to confirm . The building didn't follow the plans and connect the bathrooms to outside air ventilation. Disgusting.

The leasing agent promises you the world when you come in to find an apartment. They talk about your new HOME and they are your GREAT NEIGHBORS.

Anything but true. All false advertising. They should tell you about the noise, the parties and the drugs in the building. Might as well be living in the middle of a marjiuana field. The smell of pot is terrible. Their "security service" doesn't partrol but sits outside and reads a book all night. Not a safe place when the garage door is always broken in the OPEN position. Also, walls and floors are paper thin. You can hear everything.

This is NOT a luxury building at all. They do as little as possible to help. Don't let the pool picture fool you. It's usually not clean and the deck filled with tons of people who sneak in who don't live here. So if you want to learn about the building, just go to the pool area and ask residents. They will give you the truth about this DORM, not a luxury building.

As far as AIMCO, you will get no where with their managers and resident relations people. Their job is to ignore and stonewall you. Albiet they speak to you very nicely, nod and then DO NOTHING. They try to hold you off until you have to sue with a lawyer or your lease expires and they can get rid of you.

Do an internet search for AIMCO and you will see they are slumlords and not landlords. Renter BEWARE!!!!
