Aion Aion team development Stole money, deleted paid account Internet
I purchased the MMORPG AION in 2008 at full retail price (40 or 50 dollars if i recall) and played with some friends for a few months before I got bored and allowed my account to go into the frozen state ( I stopped paying the monthly fee to play). The game had since failed HORRIBLY and has gone free to play. I decided to give the game another shot since I could pick right up where I left off without paying a dime. I went to log into the game and was told I had no account, after a few hours of searching online I found out they have decided to delete my game account essentially robbing be of the access and content I had paid for. Upon more research I find out im far from the only person who has had their game account completely deleted. Upon posting my story on a gaming forum, several people stated that their AION accounts were also deleted in a similar manor.
Do not mistake this as an issue with NCsoft itself (the games publisher). From my experience NCsoft is a great company when it comes to support and I was even able to recover a 6 year inactive "Guild Wars" account with no issue, so the AION developers should in no way reflect negatively on the publisher NCsoft
