If you are a musician or a Record Label, whatever you do, DO NOT use a guy named Jim Murphy who works with Air 9 Radio Promotions, or Mission House Music Label (New name may be Little Big Town Productions & Promo. This guy promises he will get your "song played" and on the "music row charts", and will promise you airplay until the cows come home, but in the end after 9 months! of paying upwards of around $4000 PER MONTH on average, I didn't get any Top Radio station play in major markets and only marginal play in a few minor markets on I think 2 radio stations-a complete ripoff and waste of my time and my money! Jim Murphey is an ex performer/producer in the Christian market and boy can he talk, and he has contacts in the industry, but it's been awhile and he's what we affectionately refer to as a major "has been" and can't get radio pl;ay or produce anyone himself to save his company or even your contract! Do yourself a big favor and run away from this guy, especially if you're an independent musician. All he's doing the whole time is driving all over meeting pool artists and looking for his next "bid sucker" to score, and he isn't going to work on getting you any radio play or the time of day. Run don't walk away from this guy or his companies!
