Air and Land Vacation ripoff travel air flights from hell Tampa Florida
I November of 2001 I was awarded a 2 day 3 night trip for attending an MVI seminar. By January, 2002, I had paid $100.00 deposit, selected Las Vegas as my travel destination in May 2002, and received a certificate # 0529169.
In a letter dated June 21, 2002 MVI requested that I submit my airline tax for my trip to Las Vegas in October 2002 in the amount of $86.16 by July 5th. The letter contained my itinerary for my Las Vegas trip. I depart Detroit on Oct. 29 at 8:49a.m. and fly to Cleveland for an hour layover, then Baltimore for another hour layover, then arrive in Las Vegas at 3:06p.m. I depart Las Vegas on October 31 at 7:15a.m. and fly to Baltimore for a 2 hour layover, then Cleveland for a 2 -1/2 hour layover and arrive in Detroit at 5:49 p.m. Add to these flight times my travel time to and from the airport for a big picture of this nightmare. This itinerary is unacceptable.
With this plan I spend 2 days in airports. I arrive at the vacation site late and exhausted on Day One. I spend Day Two at an undisclosed property in Las Vegas. I awake very early to get to the airport and travel all day on Day Three to return to Detroit. This is not a vacation time share. This is a nightmare trip designed to torture travelers. I was misled by MVI and am very unhappy with the MVI proposed travel schedule and feel I am not receiving a reasonable "vacation time share".
I want my $100.00 deposit returned. I want to end all dealings with MVI. MVI practices false advertising, consumer fraud, makes misleading promises, runs a scam and does a disservice to reputable business associates like Radisson Properties. I plan to complain to Radisson, report MVI to Florida Consumer Affairs, submit a letter directly to MVI demanding my $100.00 deposit, and of course, make sure this complaint is posted on your site.
