Air-O-Drome Aviation, Inc. or airidaho.com, is an aviation business / flight school that needs to be looked into and hopefully stopped. I have had a hangar at the Caldwell airport long enough to see the damage that air-o-drome has caused.

This is all public knowledge, and much of it is a matter of record as well. Air-o-drome has been caught by Pat Darling of the FAA, for falsifying FAA log book records and at one point had all of their operational certificates revoked within the last two years. As a result they continued to operate aircraft with improper insurance for the operations of the aircraft involved, a revoked DPE status and air-o-drome continues to fly planes that from a maintenance and air-worthiness perspective, should probably be grounded.

Two aircraft from this shop have been lost to crashes already, and fortunately no-one was injured but the causes to me are suspect, given the history of false records where FAA and maintenance is concerned. Most instructors and air-o-drome techs have left air-o-drome most likely out of self preservation for their reputations and careers, and a measure of self respect.

To make matters worse, this shop offers Lasergrade testing, which supposedly has a history where for a cash fee, one of the test proctors named "Jureen" would let you pass by reading you the answers. How many unqualifed "trained" personnel has this shop let loose on the public between Lasergrade and pilot training?  Menace may not adequately describe it.

In fact air-o-drome has recently moved hangars, most likely in an attempt to hide from former irate customers, the FAA, and possibly to avoid detection from potential lawsuits. In addition, the Celebration of Flight show is tied to and somewhat based out of the air-o-drome location. I don't think the show itself is as corrupt appearing as is Air-o-Drome, since well known aviation community names such as Bob "Snapper" Finer of finer-flying.com and Mark Peterson are both performers in the Celebration of Flight show. Both men are multi dimensional aviation performers who deserve better than being connected to something like air-o-drome. Bob Finer always puts on a great show and has an impeccable reputation. Bob and Deena Finer are well known in the aviation community and probably have no relation to air-o-drome beyond the Celebration of Flight show, but I cannot say given their continued association?

The local aviation community is a small one, and it as a whole suffers when places like this are allowed to operate. Reputations and guilt by association are factors that should be considered with people associated with this school and possibly the Celebration of Flight show. Thankfully, I live in Canada but I have a hangar in Caldwell unfortunately near air-o-drome. I can leave whenever I wish but Bob Finer and Mark Peterson and people of this caliber must live here. The damage to these performers good reputations and the community as a whole may never be fully calculated. For that I feel terrible.

Most puzzling to me is why is the city of Caldwell, the FAA, and celebrated members of the aviation community allow this secret to kept and the public to remain in danger? I believe that something must be done but I am a foreigner so I hope this reaches people who can interviene.
