Air plants 4U Airplants 4U awful customer service, bad product, poor quality, rude, condescending, not helpful, dead plants, ripoff Magalia Internet

I ordered from Air plants 4U a few times never doing my research on the company first.... if I did I am sure I never would have!  It seems the common deminator in all reviews are about charming John, the representative of the company.  

I emailed the general email yesterday to inform them that the plants I received were about 40 percent brown and dying.  I wanted to ensure this was a fluke and that something could be done to not have it happen again.  I am a business owner as well so as youll see below I didnt ask for anything not even an exchange, just peace of mind and maybe an understadngin reply.... Boy was I wrong!!  

You will want to read from the bottom up.  DONT BUY FROM RUDE JOHN see all the reviews first or be prepared for dead plants!

Wow!  We just told you the facts.  "As we knew" is not condescending!!  We are not being pompous. We were just trying to educate you. We happen to be experts in our field and obviously you know nothing about tillandsia.  There is no evidence presented that merits an exception and that is a fact.  If you do not believe that, it is your problem.  You think that if you send us a picture of some dead leaves that that proves the plant is dying or unheathy.  Well, that is not botanically accurate.  I suppose you thought you were going to get free plants for sending photos that do not provide evidence of anything unusual.  If you can not accept facts as facts, we do not want you as a customer, sorry.  No, we will not be scammed.  We certainly do not need your judgements or opinions and we do not appreciate abusive emails.  We will not receive any further communications from you.  Thank you.

Your condescending email "as we knew" doesn't sit well with me. I am simply asking and showing you. I don't need a refund I just won't order from you again. I am sure sometimes there are exceptions to things as I am a business owner too... Acting all knowing and pompous are not charastics of a business I choose to spend my money at. You may want to change the way you address your paying customers on the future

We see no evidence of unhealthy plants.  As we knew, you did received very high quality plants.  If you are concerned about some dead leaves at the base, this is completely normal and natural.  As in all plants, old leaves die at the base over time. The Xerographica can be 5 - 10 years old.  Because a plant has some old dead leaves does not mean that it is unhealthy or dying.  If new leaves were dying, I would be concerned.  Normally, people do not display their plants butt side up.  Dead leaves may be pulled off.  Here is how to groom a tillandsia <http://www.airplant.com/grooming.html>.  If you do not like the plants, please return them for a refund right away.

What we do know is that our plants are the freshest in the industry bar non and our quality is unsurpassed.  If there is a problem it is absolutely not our fault.  Please be aware that these plants nor the box must not be placed in direct sun or exposed to toxic fumes. Please follow the instructions on this page <http://www.airplants4u.com/TillandsiaCare.html>.    The plants were only in the box two days so damage would be highly unusual.  We do not ship poor quality plants so remove that thought.  Please send photos so we can try and determine what  the cause of damage is.

I just received my plants and this is the 2nd time that they haven't been in great condition. The first time there were 2 small ones that died with in a week but they were about 5 dollars so I didn't think too much about it. This time one small one the largest one and 3 medium ones are in very poor quality. About 40 percent of the large one is all the way brown and dying. I want to see what you can do to correct this so I may continue to order. Please let me know how we can rectify this. Thank you!
