Air Purifiers Superstore, Ionic Zone Claims Yet Another Victim, Does Not Deliver and Keeps the Money Las Vegas, Nevada
Mike Alcantara accepted my credit card for an order through his web site Http:\\www.IonicZone.com. I never received the product.
I have read all the ripoff.com articles, about people getting ripped off and this, is yet another. The one common argument from Mike has is; no person picks up the phone and give him a call. Well, I have called and emailed until I am blue in the face, with no action from the Manager, Mike.
The reason given as to why the products I paid for were not delivered are as follows: 1) That Shipping Department dropped the ball 2) We are moving into a new warehouse 3) We lost $3,000.00 moving to a new location and had to fire the part time person we had putting his units together 4) Sorry, it will be there Monday for sure (Heard this a bunch of times) and so on.....
Reading Many of the online ripoffs on this company, Mike mentions that anyone putting something on this site, will no longer receive service and or the products they ordered. I guess this is his justification as to why he should keep our money and not deliver. That's ok Mike, I would rather not deal with you or your company so no problem. Keep the 45 bucks and put it toward more advertizing. Sooner or later, people will get the idea, either from here or just from looking at the Nevada Better Business Bureau; where there are still open customer complaints waiting for you to take action.

I'm Mike. I checked our records and there are no back-orders for a Pozzer. Who is this person? What planet does this person come from anyway? I will give $10,000 of Ionic Zone money to anyone who can prove we "ripped" someone off, period. I'm sick of this slanderous website. Period. First of all, the word "rip off" means you paid for something and you didn't get it and didn't get your money back. This person claims he or she paid by credit card for a $45 product (we don't sell $45 products). If you pay for something with a credit card and you don't get it, you simply call your credit card provider or bank (in case of debit card) and you tell them your story and they'll give you your money back. It's called a chargeback. Now if you send in cash, then you might have a problem, but we don't accept cash. We also rarely get checks or money orders and have never been accused of not filling an item from someone who paid with a MO or check.
So again, how have we ripped anyone off? Let me tell you, WE HAVE NOT!! We ill 20-30 orders a day. We have over 15,000 past customers. We also have the lowest prices on everything we sell. We used to use Webjistix to fill our orders but recently moved our business to a larger location and now ship ourselves. Why? It saves us about $1000 a month plus we can now ship faster. Before, things would ship the next day. Now, we fill orders same day when orders are received before 3PM Pacific time.
I know more about ozone generators and ozone therapy than anyone you'll get on the phone. I wrote most of the reports on Ionic Zone and Air Purifiers Superstore. We sell a number of products and I'm on the phone at least 6 hours a day answering questions on ozone and our many other alternative health products. I'm the only one who answers the phone. We have a night time bookkeeper who sometimes answers e-mails but it's mostly me who answers the phone and answers e-mails.
We don't have 1 person who "puts our units together", that was a lie. We have 1 electrician who works part time fixing units for us. We don't get that many repair requests so no reason to hire someone full time, and we don't want a non-pro to deal with electrical issues, so we sub out repairs. That person also wires our ozone plates. I pray that this Pozer person ordered ozone plates form us (only vendor in US that sells them). That would make sense. My best friend is a lawyer and he's been pressing me to not sell any ozone plates because of litigation he's seen dealing with high voltage parts that are sold to morons who don't know the first thing about electronics. I was waiting to get more info before filling any more ozone plate orders and giving back-orders the run around, that's true. However, I decided last week to fill our outstanding ozone plate orders and simply quit selling them in the future. If someone want's their ozone plates changed, they'll have to send their machines into our electrician for now on. This is a liability issue. If the home owner wires the new plates wrong and burns down their home, they'll come after us. That's why we were the only ones selling high voltage ozone plates to end users (our generators spark from a 7000V generator) anywhere in the world.
As for the BBB, that's the real rip-off! They told us we can get an A rating simply by paying something like $500 but we refuse to join them because we see that as a "shake down" organization. A business can actually rip people off in their business and join the BBB to watch their back and prevent any negative reports coming out as long as they answer peoples complaints. Most rip-off business', companies that take peoples money (cash) and don't produce (as in local business') are members of the BBB. We're only an INTERNET BUSINESS that does 99.9% of our business via CREDIT AND DEBIT CARDS which protect the purchasers 100% of the time! Back to the BBB, most of the negative reports are about Air Purifiers Superstore which is no longer operated by Ionic Zone. They're simply one of our dealers. Ionic Zone LLC was sold about 20 months ago and is not Ionic Zone (not a corp). It's now a sole proprietorship. Founder and former owner moved to Costa Rica. New owner has been in alternative health care for over 20 years. Well funded. Let's me run the company and make major decisions. When the new owner called the BBB and complained that we are no longer owners of the Air Purifiers Superstore and that Ionic Zone doesn't have any outstanding complaints or any complaints in general since they finished the buyout in Sept 07, she was told to join to make things right. She didn't want to join since we're not a brick and mortar business, virtually all of our business is done over the Internet where the credit card company protects the customers. Ionic Zone does pay Trust Guard to monitor our dedicated server so that it doesn't get hacked. Most internet businesses used shared servers (1000's of businesses on 1 server) and those servers are susceptible to hacking and viruses from any of those business'. We pay Trust Guard over $500 a year to monitor our server and to handle any complaints. We also use isafesite for the same reason. If someone has a complaint and we don't fix it, they kick us out of the "isafesite" family and we lose the money we paid to join them. To date, we've only had 1 complaint to answer and we handled it promptly.
So to sum up, this customer probably ordered ozone plates. We didn't fill his or her order due to the fact we've been vavering on selling these for the last 2 months. We ended up shipping this customer his ozone plates. I can now confirm Pozzer is Thomas Quinn at Cocoa FL. Here is his tracking number: 9101010521297328308378 It was delivered today. We printed his label on June 30 and didn't ship until Aug 7. I wish I would have just canceled his order and not shipped it, especially now that we'll have a mark on our company forever due to this website that is ripping us off of customers. I can't wait for the class action takes place against this website to recompense business' that lose money due to these type of un-removable posts! There is no doubt that x amount of customers will see the search engine heading and give up and wait for their ridiculously slow servers to serve up the page in question and not buy without ever reading the complaint! The court will require them to upgrade their server so that pages load within 3 seconds and will also allow people who post the right to remove posts if they so desire. That would only be fair given the long term damage these types of posts can create.
By the way, I want to know if this website is connected to the business's that help you "bury" these types of reports from showing up in the search engines! Here is an e-mail I got just today, alerting me of this post:
Hello,
Please forward to the CEO or President of the company, thank you. I can bury the ROR rip off report that shows up first in search on the search engines, let me know if you are interested please 303-915-9870 direct www.rxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx.com I am not sure what kind of sales volume you do from online leads but this will certainly help that !!!
Sincerely,

I wrote the report listed above. Everything I wrote above is exactly as it happened. The only thing that has changed that I feel needs to be said is: The parts I ordered were in fact delivered to me today. I was never contacted and my emails and phone calls went unanswered. If I would have been contacted, I would not have written the report above yesterday.
