Do not use this company! We were totally ripped off. I work for a school district and ordered and paid for several air test kits. They were never sent.


I emailed them, recieved no replys, and called several times...no one answers, and the recording says the phone mail is "full."


By reading these reports, I find we're not the only vicitms. I don't know why these people aren't shut down, but are allowed to continue to steal from innocent people.

I'm the customer service guy for Ionic Zone which also operates Air Purifiers Superstore and 3 other websites.  The reason why we have over 15,000 past customers and 10-20 new customers a day is because we have the lowest prices on everything we sell, and we only sell highly effective products. 

Exactly how did we "rip off" this customer?  She ordered something that we re-sell.  We ordered it from the vendor.  They were out of stock, didn't tell us.  Lack of communication is not a "rip-off", it's what happens sometimes.  She did contact us and we did happily issue a refund.  Why? If we don't, then the customer can call their credit card company and get a charge back.  That's when your bank takes money from the vendor before determining who is right or wrong and  makes the vendor jump through hoops to get their money back (if they did provide the product or service)  All it takes is one call folks, that's it!  Nobody is getting ripped off by purchasing online with a credit card folks, these people who post these vindictive articles obviously are trying to hurt the vendor for personal reasons, not because they were "ripped off" if they purchased with a credit or debit card, which was the case here. 


Here is how we operate.  We get 10-20 (sometimes much more than that) orders a day.  We make and stock our own products. Those are easy. They go out same day.  With furnace filters and test kits, and a few other items we resell, the vendor gets an email from us when the order is placed.  They usually fill it within 24 hours if the product is in stock.   I'm too busy to check to see if every re-sell purchase is shipped right away, some take days, and the only way I know a problem exists is if I get a call.  When I do get a call, I handle it myself and make sure things get done.  I always offer the customer the option to just get a refund.  I sometime offer them an extra for the delay.  It's left to my digression.  I take it personally when someone accuses me or my company of ripping them off. It's not true, and it's vindictive.

Ionic Zone is a $1,000,000+ plus a year in sales company.  We continue to grow.  Why?  Great prices.  Great products.  Great service.  In a down economy, with others going belly up, we continue to grow.  We must be doing something right!  However, the owner doesn't want to hire another customer service - sales person because on most days, I go hours sometimes between calls and frankly the owner is fiscally conservative.  On the occasions when I am on the phone with someone and another person is on hold and yet another call tries to come in and goes directly to voice mail, I usually answer the message within 1 hour.  I do my best. 

My main point here that I want to make is that nobody gets ripped off when they purchase something from us or any large Internet company with a Merchant Account because your CREDIT CARD or DEBIT CARD protects your purchase!  If you are not happy with the product, you can RETURN IT for a refund.  If you don't get it, you can do a CHARGEBACK and get your money back from your credit card company!  If you send a check (I don't recommend this for any online purchase) and it's cashed and you don't get your product, (NOT THE CASE HERE, WE ISSUED A REFUND TO THEIR CC ALREADY) then you have to contact your bank and jump through a lot of hoops.  That's why the best way to avoid being ripped off when making an online purchase from us or anyone is to use a CREDIT CARD or DEBIT CARD with the visa, mastercard, discover, or AMEX log, PERIOD!  People like this unhappy customer who defames our company by saying we are a "rip off' which is clearly not the case as they lost NOTHING!  This post is intended to cause us monetary harm I believe.  I pray that our lawyer agrees with me and makes them pay to defend my honor and for principle.  I am a conservative an defender of free speech, but I am also a fair minded person.  You can't accuse someone of ripping you off or being a rip-off when that's clearly not the case!  By definition, ripping someone off is intentionally stealing from someone where the victim can't be and is never made whole.  Just because you're the unlucky 1 out of 500 or so customers who orders something from us and doesn't get it doesn't mean you were ripped, off, especially when you were issued a refund.

I'm the customer service guy for Ionic Zone which also operates Air Purifiers Superstore and 3 other websites.  I'm 1 guy!  The reason why we have over 15,000 past customers and 10-20 new customers a day is because we have the lowest prices on everything we sell, period!  How is that "ripping off" the competition?  We don't stock a lot of products we sell on air purifiers superstore, so we rely on other companies to fill our orders. Unless we hear from a customers that something hasn't arrived, then we have no way of knowing that an order didn't get filled in some cases.  In most cases, we get a tracking number right away and we pass it along to our customers.  We also make our own products (Ionic Zone) which we ship "same day" when ordered by 2pm.
