Air Purifier Superstore appears to be an impressive site listing many well- known brand names among their products, which lends legitimacy to their site, but they just take your money, never send mdise. then run.

However, when I ordered a product, which was immediately charged to my credit card, they came up with lame excuses for over two months, why it was not yet shipped. When I requested a refund, there was no response. Now, their 800 telephone number receives voice mails sometimes, but their local business telephone in Nevada is now a non-working number.

This company claimed to have a brand new product, the best air purifier, the Ionic Zone IZ-PCO first selling at $199 then the price went up after. They claimed it had the newest technology .. their excuses included, a break- in in their warehouse, the paint they used didn't meet their high standards, they switched their design, the new design needed a new part, the updated version needed an electrician's approval, they had to purchase different packing materials, the manufacturing was to be done in L.A., then Nevada . . . . . I hope this report of my loss will at least save others

I have waited a long time for this really super Smoke-Eater which I ordered back in March 2008. It is supposed to be the best SMOKE EATER available because of its power and its new technology, and I believe that is true.

However, because as of 6/5/08, it is not available, I REC'D A FULL REFUND as I requested.

I am keeping my eye on their website to see if this great product ever makes it on the scene.

Here's the story with this customer. She found out we were in the process of making a new air purifier that would have the highest CFM air moving capability, the lowest operating cost (washable filter), UV lights / PCO or ozone to remove second hand smoke, etc and she talked me into selling her one before it was ready for mass production and sale.

At the time, we were going to sell a smaller unit for $199. We were ready to sell that item maybe 10 days after she pre-ordered but things changed. We decided to make a much larger unit. Even though she only paid $199 and the final version was going to sell for $399, I offered to give her a $299 PCO air purifier instead since I wasn't sure how long it would take to get this new product built. She passed wanting the better unit. This new air purifier is now almost ready to ship (will start shipping next week) and she decided to file this report and give up, demanding her money back and the $299 unit for free.

We sell a lot of different products. I only allowed this customer to "pre-buy" this new air purifier product. What a mistake. I've learned my lesson. And for the record, I never made the following excuses: "break-in at warehouse". The paint issues, yes, we were going to offer a painted product but VOC tests made us change our mind, we're now going to make it out of wood. We did switch designs that forced us to get a different ballast for the UV, that's true. We were trying to have the body of this new product made in LA but settled on a Las Vegas shop. There are many reasons why this product has been delayed. I offered a refund several times but she never wanted one.

Out of 10,000 sales over the years, this is the first time my company is listed on this site. We have over 10,000 happy past customers over the past 7 years. We offer the lowest prices and the best products to clean the air, that's why our business continues to grow. I am sorry that this customer was not able to get the item she ordered sooner. Pam is a nice lady and I'm sorry for her bad experience with our company. I have apologized to her for her bad experience and issues a refund today. That's all I can do. And thanks for the lesson. No more pre-sells!
