Air Ride picked up my stuff on 8-20-2007 for delivery on the 1st of September. They were late. I called them many times and just got hung up on. Without notice the driver arrived at my door on the 4th of September. I was quoted 890.00 to move 200 square feet of goods. I moved a studio apartment and was told that it never exceeds 200 square feet. After picking up my stuff, the person who picked up my stuff told me that my stuff totaled 250 square feet...without even measuring or weighing it. If I had that much stuff in my tiny studio apartment, there would be no place to walk. I also had an lcd tv and my bed's box spring, among other things, that were destroyed by Air Ride. I know that they have 120 days to resolve this, but when I call for an update, I get told that I have the wrong number. And when I ask the same secretary that I have been dealing with to allow me to speak to Alon, the manager, she says that nobody with that name works there. I'm patient, I could wait, but I have a bad feeling about this company. I just want to know what is going on with my claim, which was submitted over 5 weeks ago. They told me that I would hear something in 1 to 2 weeks after receiving it. When I complained to the BBB, I found another 25 people had the same problem. The BBB tried to get a hold of Air Ride, but they would not respond back. Please Help me!
