Complaint Review: Aircare Solutions

Aircare Solutions Sold me an A/C unit, installed it and it is not functional after 5 attempts. Pembroke Park , Florida

I purchased a $2600.00 Airconditioning unit from this company, it took them two trips to install it as they didnt have all the right parts the first time. That evening after two hours of running, there was standing water in the airhandler area. I called and they assured me someone wuld be out the next day.

A side incident on the 2nd day of installation, the crew locked their keys in the van and proceeded to knock the entire back window of the van out, sending shattered glass all over my driveway and yard. Their attempt to clean it up took me hours to clean up.

The next day after several calls, a team arrived at 2pm, they stated they saw what theproblem was and ance in January and all it. I placed a towel under the unit just in case and Surprise, in an hour it was soaked. Again I called the company to be told  a team would be sent out the next day.

Well the next day came and no one showed up after several calls. Finally the call center informed me that the President of the company siad the darin lines were clogged and that was my problem. Now mind you, there was nothing woring with the unit I had, it was just 11 yrs old and too small for my home so I wanted to replace it prior to it going out at a bad time. Also I had another company perform maintenance in January 2013 and all was well including the drain lines.

So I called that other company to come out and look at my situation, the same tech came that had performed the maintenancein January and he stated the drain lines were not functioning but it was because of what theis new company had done by rerouting the lines. The tech even spoke to the installing companies call center and explain theproblem. I then wrote an email to the President of the installing company.

Within 30 minutes, I had a call from the installing company stating that they would make the repairs on Monday and they apologized for the situation. So Monday a team finally arrives around 1pm, works, has to go to hardware store as they didnt have the right parts, came back said they had it repaired but gaveme their cell phone number so I could call them if it leaked.  Well in an hour I called them as it was leaking. They returned Monday evening and worked some more, to no avail. They stated they would ave to come back the next day.

So another days goes by and no crew shows up after several calls. I call the cell number and they assure me they will be at my house by 2pm, so at 3pm, I call back and they say, didnt our supervisor call you? NO, so I call the call center and guess what they go back to saying it is my problem.

Bottom line, is  I have a beautiful brand new Airconditioner unit that is not working and the seller and installer is refusing to service it. So what good is the 5 yr Maintenance Contract that they threw in for Free.
