Airtran Lost my electric scooter and when it was found it was in several peices. They refused to rent one for me for the weekend. When it was repaired they would not authorize for all of the damage to be repaired even though it was practically new.
Airtran called my wife a terriorist and filed a terrorist report against her for raising hell with the stewardes'. It took several weeks to get my scooter repaired after I got back home and it still isn't like it's supposed to be.

Your post obvioulsly leaves out a lot of details.
First of all an airline is required under the law to pay for repairs of an assistive device.
But what catches my attention is the "terroist" report. First of all there is no such thing as a "Terrorist report" for the airline to have filed. An in fact you stated that your wife "raised hell" with the flight attendants. It doesn't make since that your wife would have done so over the scooter, but even if she did, that still warrents calling the police.
