We ordered, using a credit card and the internet, an inflatable pool from inflateus.com on September 5th, a holiday weekend. The charge went through immediately which was very suspicious given this a sunday on the Labor Day weekend.
I figured that shipping from San Leandro, 40 miles away should take very little time, expecting the shipment on friday, 10 September. The fact that the order cleared the credit card on 5 September, meant 5 days for shipment.
My daughter has been asking for 1.5 weeks where the pool is. Today is 16 Septemeber and I have been unable to contact anyone by either email or phone. Their company is not listed in the phone directory of San Leandro/surrounding areas (used operator assistance to check); their toll-free number is out of service/number disconnected. Our credit card charge is being disputed at the moment. Buyers Beware: Check your card statements to make sure your number has not been used inappropriately. Do not order anything from this set of companies--BIG scam.

Shipping company actually lost the package which was out of our hands. Website was updated to reflect a bad 800 number that was still there from an ex-webmaster. We refunded money in full. Crap happens sometimes. They could have phone the number from their credit card statement. We have had thousands of satisfied customers in a business that has 7 years of success. Is the internet perfect. Of course not :-)
