I applied to do masters degree program on health care management, and they assisted me in applying for loan and I was approved for loan - $25,000 for 10 months.
The program began like May 1, 2005.

On May 12, I called to notify them of my intention to withdraw from the program and I asked them the processes to make an officicial withdrawal. They told me never to login with my student identification number again. Of which I did. I asked to give me an estimate of my tuition and they said that they will contact me.

Immediately, I notified the loan company (Saillie Mae) not to send any money to the school since I'm withdrawing from the program. Unfortunately, they told me that they have sent one-third of the loan to the school in the amount of $1,700 because they were gonna pay it in three instalments. Sallie Mae only approved to pay only up to ($6,000). The rest of the loan was approved by the other two companies which the school also provided.

After one week, I called the school again to enquire about my
tuition for the twelve days I was with them. They told me that I should pay $276.25 and I charged it on my credit card immediately. However, they refused to send the $1,700 back to the loan company. Thus, they charged me $1,975.25 for twelve days of school.
