To Rip-off Report,

After one week I have not received (order #12152) from
Aiya! Shopping who claimed the item was in stock and I
chose the 3 day shipping option. What kind of service
do you call this? I'm very fortunate that this item
was ordered for myself and not as a Father's Day gift. This merchant didn't take that into consideration
while they sat on the order for days before even
shipping it. When the merchant finally shipped the
item I was already receiving orders that I placed the
same day from other merchants using super saver and
free shipping. I then found out Aiya! used regular
mail but still billed my credit card for the premium
shipping. This I was told would be refunded but I'll
believe it when I see it.

Also, when you place your order they don't tell you what the shipping charges are up front. What's up with that? That is unprofessional and in my opinion, a little deceptive. So is offering 3 day shipping when they have no intention of honoring it. I guess the bottom line is that company shouldn't make themselves out to be something they're not. If you cannot provide 3 day service you shouldn't have it as an option when ordering. Aiya! Shopping's website is very misleading and their service with my order so far has been very pitiful. I know they don't see it that way through the eyes of the customer or things like this wouldn't happen. In my opinion also, I feel I should be refunded the entire amount of shipping charges for them wasting my time.

Had I known they were this slow and dishonest (no up front shipping charges and overcharging my credit card) up front, I would not have even ordered from them. Others may have used Aiya! before with no problems but I would like this letter posted publicly to give consumers a heads up of what could happen to them if they placed an order with these people and chose 2 or 3 shipping in order to receive an item before an important date like Father's Day or a birthday. They waited 3 business days before my order even got out of their door. PITIFUL!
