This is a request for a refund of the install charges, we paid for a service that was not delivered.

 Hello,  We purchased a high-dollar dishwasher and we purchased extended warranty. We also pre-paid for delivery and install, and although delivered they failed completely on installing the dishwasher properly. I called right away, several times, on that first day of delivery August 7, 2012, when the delivery and install personnel left the property w/o installing the dishwasher. Then we got the run-around all day telling us "we will be there in one hour"... both homeowners had to leave work and wait for them two times and yet the installers did not show up until 5PM. Then they provided a shoddy attempt of an install. Then the dishwasher did not work anymore. Also I told AJ Madison I never wanted to speak with Matt from AM Trucking again, he was rude and condescending. However, I had to speak with Matthew again and we worked together to organize the second attempt to install. Matthew was well aware of the anxieties we had experienced and I asked him several times to make sure and send a very good installer. We agreed on 5:30PM Thursday August 16, 2012. Matthew sent me confirmation emails, I sent him my cell phone number and the homeowners cell phone number and told him please make sure to call us if anything comes up.

Nobody called. Nobody showed up. Again, the homeowner waited and waited and decided to go back to the office around 7:30PM. I reported all of this to AJ Madison as well as AM Trucking next morning August 17, 2012. The installers did have their second opportunity to properly install and test the unit with a set appointment for Thursday August 16, 2012 @5:30PM. Once again we waited, had to take time off work yet nobody showed up or even called. To us, they decided not to honor the commitment and left us with a dishwasher that is not running at this point. We will not pay for a service that was not delivered, and we have disputed the $200 charge with AMEX. In addition and much to our dismay, we had to contact AJ Madison again to ask for the brackets that were never delivered. Their response was for us to deal with Bosch (maker of dishwasher).
