Complaint Review: Al And Ed's Auto Sound

I have dealt with this store before, so I had no idea this new group would attempt to pull this type of scam and was surprised by the audacity of the installer they now have working there.

I went in to the store on Harbor and Adams looking for the people who had helped me before and found that they weren't there. I wanted to get a nice head unit to play my WMA's and my MP'3 so we went round and round on a few things.

I will put in here a warning to all**go to the manufacturers website do all the reasearch you can before ever walking into ANY stereo place**.

I finally got a good deal on the exact Alpine I wanted and was happy with the cost of the unit after they were willing to bring it down to $250 which was $20 more than down the street (which if any one cares to know has some of the previous Boww Down crew working at)well I then asked about install and this is where Santiago attempted to ream me he said $180 to make the piece to fit my murano, he said it is about 3 hours to make it and to install it when he was all done he said it would be $497 total.

Needless to say I was shocked and total him I would by the unit and find a more reasonable installation some where else.

Only reason I am writting this is to let all the people who come to this site know, watch out as one way or another these shops will try to get you.
