Al-Co Overhead Doors should not be trusted. Albert Martin, the owner and operator of AL-Co overhead doors is a liar and con-artist. He and I made a deal to install a new garage door opener in exchange for 2 roundtrip standby tickets on united airlines to Hong Kong. The two business class tickets are worth over $10,000.00. As part of our deal he offered to install my garage door opener and pay me an additional $1100 (the wholesale cost of the tickets using my employee discount) for the 2 tickets. Upon his return from Hong Kong, AL told me that due to the Olympics he did not make the flight using my standby tickets and that he wanted his money back. I returned the $1100 to him. HE LIED! Al Martin and his friend used my tickets to fly to Hong Kong on business class and now refuse to pay me. AL MARTIN IS A LIAR. He has refused to reimburse me for the cost of the airline tickets. He has violated the terms of our agreement. To make matters worse, Al has threatened me and used unprofessional/profane language. Don't let Al Martin lie to you as he has lied to me!

This woman is not being truthful, what happened was after our date she tried to impress me with her connection to United Airlines where she worked and because I informed her I was taking a trip to China she acted like she can get me buddy passes through her work.  I said great!!!  The garage door opener was not even a factor until upon receiving the two printed tickets from her computer she made reference to her garage door opener not always working right, so I tried to show my appreciation for her giving me her employee discount and offered to install a new one for her at no charge as a kind gesture only.  

We proceeded with the flight to Hong Kong from San Francisco International Airport and the ticket lady was really rude to us and told us we should know all the rules to fly with a buddy pass.  I was quite shocked at the way United Airlines treated us upon our departure and we were then were told we would only get on the flight if they had room, not like this woman is claiming and she never told us this, in fact she said the flight was wide open and we can just walk on no problem.  We did in fact get on the flight and were treated differently then the other passengers for what ever reason I dont know why.  

The problem really escalated on our return home.  We had to be at the Hong Kong airport at like 6 am prior to departure at 8 am.  When I showed the lady behind the ticket booth at the United Airline counter my ticket she told me that I can not fly on that flight do to an "embargo".  I was furious and when the lady explained to me that the employee who ordered our tickets was aware that the flight had an embargo on it because the computor flashes red and informs anyone trying to get tickets fot that flight is aware that there is an embargo on the ticket.  I tried calling this person who is the complainer now and she was unreachable because she was in Hawaii.  She then later phoned me back but it was too late because I had to spend another 2200.00 with EVA airlines to return home.  I installed a garage door opener on her home which I normally charge 1295.00 in which she received for free.  I paid her intially 1100.00 so realisticully Im out almost 2400.00 dollars not including the inconvienence of waiting hours in the airport for another flight.  Upon my return this complaining woman called me and said she would return my 1100.00 and apoligized to me.  Later she reliezed that we used the ticket to go there and wanted me to give her the 1100.00 dollars back.  I explained to her that she would have to pay me 1295.00 for the garage door opener that I installed for her because she portrayed to me that the tickets were liget.  She refused to pay me for the opener so I then told her that it is a wash and we both are even.  Case closed.
