Complaint Review: Aladdin Jewelry and Repair

Today I took my graduated rainbow sapphire bracelet to Aladdin Jewelry repair
in Fair Oaks Mall to replace a stone that had fallen out. I had the 
stone. The guy told me $20 and 1 hour. I walked the mall. When I 
returned, there was no one there. I waited about 10 minutes and he 
showed up with some food. My bracelet was done, he apologized for
making me wait. As he pulled the bracelet out, I could see that there
was an orange stone where the pale yellow stone had been. I said this

is not the right stone! He insisted that it must have darkened when he
cleaned it. I began to protest more loudly and after looking around a
bit, he stuck his hand in a bowl of dirty liquid and pulled out my
stone!!! He apologizes again and then tells me the other jeweler must
have made a mistake. What other jeweler? If there was more than 1
person working there, why was the place left unattended? This guy is a
thief! He tried to switch out a yellow sapphire for what? A citrine? A
piece of glass? DO NOT GO TO ALADDIN JEWELRY IN FAIR OAKS MALL! I
notified mall security. I should have called the police.
