On October 2, 2009 I gave Jorge Kabande of Alamo brokers $5000 certified bank check as a good faith deposit for retail store sale that I was interested in buying.  Eventually, the store owner backed out of the sale because he claimed Mr. Jorge has being dishonest with him in recent past and he does not wish to continue doing business with anyone he brings to him as a potential buyer.  Needless to say this was a big shock, subsequently, since the sale did not go through I requested the refund of my money per his letter of intent agreement to me.  Ever since, it has being one story or the other...the accountant is on vacation, the check got lost in the mail, his son is seriously sick in the hospital.....  After two month of trying effortles to collect. I investigated Jorge Kabande, he is not licenced business broker in Texas, he has two complaints on him already with BBB, and three more on this web-site.  I want to seize this opportunity to make sure he does not do this ever again to anybody.

I will be filling a civil and criminal complaints against Jorge Kabande to make sure he's put out of business for good.

Jorge Kabande finaly refunded my good faith deposit ($5000.00) after five months of relentless effort. I thank San Antonio Police - anti-theft dept for helping me. I strongly believe without their assistance I would still be trying to collect my money. To future clients of Jorge Kabande of Alamo business brokers, if you must do business with him DO NOT GIVE HIM ANY DOWN PAYMENT. For those who are his victims I suggest you file a criminal complaint and press charges. I believe my refund came from another victim. He generally preys on Central american citizen because of language barrier, so beware and you have a right in america....press charges, don't be initmidated by his bogus harrassment charges. He generally files an charges with the local plolice that you are harrrassing hime.  So my advise is - Don't waste your time calling him...go to the police your self and file criminal complaint against. This will surely get your money back.  This is america you have protective rights aginst untrustworhty people.  GOOD LUCK
